OraMPA™ Microstomia Products

The OraMPA™ Microstomia device provides manual, static and dynamic stretching of the lips and mouth for the prevention and treatment of microstomia, trismus, and lip hypomobility from burns, radiation fibrosis, trauma, craniofacial disorders, scleroderma, etc. The device can also be used for orofacial muscle training. The device includes the OraMPA Appliance, a pack of elastic bands for dynamic stretching, and a pack of wraps for static stretching.

The OraMPA device can be used as a Microstomia Prevention Appliance (MPA) for immediate use after a burn or surgery to prevent contractures from causing microstomia.  Additionally, the OraMPA device can further be used to treat and stretch out the mouth for patients already suffering from microstomia or hypomobility of the tissues surrounding the mouth and face.
