The nPLANE clinic kits include multiple conformers for more flexible distribution to patients. The clinic kits include all sizes of the conformers, and can be used to treat approximately 15, 30 or 45 patients depending on the kit size.

The kits include sizes based on the average distribution of clefts between unilateral left and right, and bilateral cases. Additionally, size 01 is only used in very small babies and not used in all cases.
It specifically addresses the vertical and transverse asymmetries of the nose, displacing the septum and nostrils to a more physiological and aesthetic position before surgery and maintains the correction of the nasal cartilage, to avoid its collapse after surgery.

Each patient may used the nPLANE™ conformers from small to large in
sizes 1 to 4. The patient will progress up in size as they grow, and
larger patients may not need the size 01. In all kits, the smaller size
01 and size 02 conformers have symmetrical shaped nostril portions. In
sizes 03 and 04, the unilateral conformers have one nostril section
larger on either the left or right side. The bilateral conformers have
symmetrical nostril sections in all sizes 01 through 04.
The nPLANE™ RAS Rhinoplasty Appliance System was
designed by Dr. Martha Mejia to correct the patient’s caudal nasal
septal deviation, improve the nostril circumference and columellar
length, elevate the nasal tip, and approximate the soft and hard tissue
borders of the cleft defect.
