This smoothy is always a big hit for a breakfast on the go, with a whole frozen banana and wheat germ tovery Berry Nutritious Smoothy help jump start your day!

This recipe can be tailored to your favorite berries in and out of season. It works equally well with blueberries and black raspberries, fresh or frozen. I always add the frozen banana to give it a thicker consistence, but by adding more or less liquid you can change the consistency to adapt to use with the NutriSqueeze Pouches.

  1 cup of Orange Juice ( add 1/2 cup more for thinner consistency)
  1/2 cup of fat free plain Yogurt
  1/2 cup of silken firm Tofu
  1 medium ripe banana sliced and frozen
                ( you can do this ahead of time and never waste over ripe banana's again)
 1/2 cup frozen unsweetened Strawberries, or fresh sliced
 1/2 cup frozen unsweetened Raspberries, or fresh
 2 Tablespoons of toasted Wheat Germ

In a blender combined all ingredients, cover and process until smooth and  ENJOY!
Yields: 3 Servings so you can enjoy some now and fill a few NutriSqueeze pouches for later enjoyment. You can freeze the filled pouches but be sure to leave a little room for expansion.
