The nasal elevator should be changed every 1-2 days until the cleft repair surgery.

The DynaCleft Nasal Elevator includes a plastic nasal hook which lifts and supports the nasal tissues from a tether strip.  The tether strip is backed by a gentle adhesive that is placed against the baby's forehead for vertical lift.  The adhesive is light enough for repositioning without distressing the baby's skin, and is easy to remove and replace for each day's use.

The support from the DynaCleft Nasal Elevator lifts and holds the tissues up to improve the cleft lip surgery for better cosmetic and functional outcomes.   The DynaCleft® Nasal Elevators can be used on their own, with the DynaCleft Positioning Strips, or with an intra-oral plate like the NAM appliance.

Each pack includes 7 adhesive tethers, 7 nasal hooks, and 1 adhesive tether template for daily use of the DynaCleft Nasal Elevator over one week.
