Components and Accessories
Bitepads for the standard TheraBite jaw motion rehab system. Each pack contains 4 pads. The bitepads have adhesive on the back and are placed onto the mouthpieces of the TheraBite system. The pads form to fit the users teeth and create a semi-custom fit for the system.
Standard pads are 1/8" thick and available in this standard size or in a
pediatric pad
size. Thicker, softer pads for patients with dentures or those missing significant sections of teeth are also available in the
edentulous pad packs
for the standard size system.
We also offer extra-thick
edentulous pad packs
for patients with dentures or missing teeth on the standard adult device, or in the
pediatric pad
for use on the pediatric OraStretch press.
Bitepads do not need to be replaced unless they become torn or pull off from the mouthpiece. Keep the pads and mouthpiece clean by rinsing them off and letting them dry after use. (Do no get the whole device wet, just the mouthpieces.) Or if debris collects on the pads, brush them like your teeth. You can also dip the mouthpieces and pads into mouthwash and then let them dry for a refresher, as well..
A small number of users have bite motion different from the rotation of the OraStretch press, and this difference can cause the user's teeth to pull the bitepads off the device.
Bitepads for the OraStretch press are free with the coupon code included with your OraStretch press. You must provide the coupon code or be on record as having purchased an OraStretch press to receive the free bitepads. Original patient users may receive up to two sets of packs per month, and only one pack is sent with each order, with a maximum of 12 free packs.
